Dapty freely available for Chalmers

Aetey now delivers the full Dapty software suite to all Students, Researchers and other employees at Chalmers University of Technology.

Authentication to the software is transparently provided on Chalmers centrally managed Linux systems via Kerberos.

Access is not limited to Chalmers equipment. Anyone with a Chalmers ID may use Dapty for free on any suitable system.

For more information on how to use this service, see the Dapty HowTo page.
However users at Chalmers computers don't need to worry about authentication, so some of the information on that page can be redundant.

Also see the page Using Dapty as an add-on for Chalmers users to learn how to use Dapty with an existing Linux system.

Note: This service is provided by Aetey Global Technoloiges AB as a courtesy to Chalmers University of Technology and does not imply an endorsement by the University unless explicitly stated. Usage involves no transfer of personal data or passwords from Chalmers to Aetey as the safe authentication relies on trust to Chalmers Kerberos.
